Glenbrook Technologies: Who We Are, What We Do
If you could x-ray our company, here’s what you’d see...
A company that has, since 1983, continuously reinvented itself, evolving and adapting our unique x-ray imaging technology for the changing global markets.
Building on years of experience in x-ray phosphor technology, Glenbrook Technologies has developed a unique and patented fluoroscopic imaging camera that is employed in the various system configurations which we design and manufacture for markets that include: electronic assembly, medical device, pharmaceutical packaging, small animal research and mail security.
Our systems function as x-ray microscopes, providing users the ability to examine, in real time, the internal details of small, complex objects at high magnification; objects such as micro-electronics, medical implants, threatening mail and other applications.
A Glenbrook system was the first to record the coronary angiogram of a rat’s heart. Others are used at US, Romanian, Moroccan and Singaporean intelligence and law enforcement facilities to screen suspect mail. Our systems are used worldwide at National laboratories, major electronics facilities, major medical device manufacturers, universities and research hospitals. Even the FDA has chosen a Glenbrook x-ray system to inspect medical devices.
The company has received awards for its innovative technology from the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame, the Research and Development Council of New Jersey and the New Jersey Technology Council. The Orthopaedic Research Society has recognized Glenbrook with election to membership. The New Jersey Senate and General Assembly has also recognized us for our contribution to Homeland Security.
We love and take pride in what we do because we feel that - what we do matters - to us and to the manufacturers, researchers and intelligence agencies we serve … and to all who benefit from the products and services they and we provide.
Recognition for Glenbrook's advances include:
- 1994 - Induction into the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame
- 1998 - SMT Vision Award
- 2003 - World Mail Security Award
- 2007 - New Jersey Technology Council Life Sciences Award
- 2009 - Invention Advancement Award from The New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame
- 2009 - Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award from the Research and Development Council of New Jersey
